Departmental Achievements

  • IIT Spoken Tutorial :- Department had conducted sessions for PHP in coordination with IIT Spoken Tutorial. The Spoken Tutorial project is the initiative of the ‘Talk to a Teacher’ activity of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India.The use of spoken tutorials is to popularize software development.

Staff Achievements

  • Asst. Prof. Mrs. P. A. Chaudhari’s paper has been selected for Springer AISC series publication.

Students Achievement

    • Mr. Chetan Kardekar from final year MCA has successfully completed his Hortonworks Data Platform Certified Developer HDPCD Certification.
    • Ms. Shruti Nikam from final year MCA has successfully completed her 401 Salesforce developer Certification.
    • Mr. Shashank Dhapre and Mayur Dusane from final year MCA has successfully completed his System Administrator and Engineer Certification RHCSA and RHCE from Redhat.
    • Mr. Vaibhav Boob from first year MCA won third prize in the Intercollegiate Technical Event.
    • Students of first year and second year MCA won an Intercollegiate Cricket Match .

In House Development

  • Feedback Generator :- Department staff has developed web based application allowing feedback writing about a staff member and to send feedback – email to the concerned faculty and head of department. It is developed using PHP, MySQL and Parse BaaS Cloud Technology.
  • Resonance (Cultural Event) Management System :-A software for Cultural Event Management is developed and commissioned by students of MCA[Engineering] Department. This system gives a very user friendly platform to manage all the cultural activities registration, maintaining data of shortlisted candidates and finally generate the report having proper sequence of all the performances with predicted time duration needed to complete the cultural event of our college. All the departments in the college can access this data as per their need.
  • Smart Printout System :-A very useful software prohibiting duplicate printouts of a single program is designed which is helping in changing just copy-paste n take print attitude of students and motivating them to code by their own is developed and commissioned by students of MCA[Engineering] Department. This system helps to maintain plagiarism for the practicals conducted at departmental level .
